My roomate moved to Detroit and a few months later her knocked on our door so i let him in but his eyes looked weird like a monster. He told me that he was moving back in and he left and went to the backdoor. Before that my mom said who was? I told her it was our roomate and she looked at me with a mad face and said why would you let him in, she ran to the backdoor to lock it but he already got in the house so we beat him up but then he got back up and killed us.
Dreams involving former roommates, feelings of invasion, and conflict can often reflect underlying emotions or concerns in your waking life. Here are some interpretations of the elements in your dream:
Roommate Symbolism: Your former roommate could symbolize a part of your past or an aspect of yourself that you are struggling to reconcile with. Since she moved away, her presence may represent feelings of abandonment or change in your life.
Physical Appearance: The monster-like appearance of your roommate can symbolize feelings of fear, discomfort, or misunderstanding related to this person or what they represent. This might suggest that you are processing complicated emotions about your past relationships or the changes in your life.
Parental Reactions: Your mother's reaction in the dream could reflect your own inner conflict. She represents a protective figure, and her anger may indicate a fear of making the wrong choices or allowing potentially harmful influences back into your life.
Invasion and Violence: The act of letting someone in, followed by a violent confrontation, can symbolize feelings of vulnerability or being overwhelmed by unresolved issues. Beating up the roommate in the dream may suggest your desire to reclaim control over a situation or to defend yourself against perceived threats.
Final Outcome: The ending where you and your mother are killed could illustrate feelings of helplessness or fear of failure in protecting what matters to you. It might represent a sense of being trapped by your past or unable to escape certain negative influences.
Overall, this dream could highlight themes of vulnerability, unresolved feelings about relationships, and a struggle to protect yourself from influences that you perceive as threatening. It may be beneficial to reflect on your current life situation and any past relationships to understand what feelings or experiences may have prompted this dream.
